Ghanaian forward Joseph Paintsil has been excluded from Racing Genk match-squad to face Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.
The Belgian giants are languishing at the bottom of Group E standings after picking one point from their opening two games.
The Limburgers need to revive their slim hopes of making the knockout round with a win over Liverpool on Wednesday.
However, they will have to do it without Ghanaian forward Joseph Paintsil.
The 21-year-old is one of four players surprisingly left out by coach Felice Mazzu alongside Jakub Piotrowski, Vladimir Screciu and Shawn Adewoye.
Meanwhile, Danny Vukovic and Neto Borges will also be missing the game with injuries.
Paintsil regularly had a basic place at the start of the season, but now that Theo Bongonda is fit, he appears less in the play.
He was not even against Mouscron and Standard Liege in the selection of the club.
