Ghana midfielder Rabiu Mohammed could leave French side Paris FC as a free agent.

Mohammed has been a key member of the capital-based outfit since joining in 2019 as a free-agent after ending his short stay at Russian Premier League outfit Krylya Sovetov.

But he could potentially depart the club in the summer as his contract expires on June 30, 2020.

Just like the French Ligue 1, the Ligue 2 has also been halted due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.

The uncertainty over when they will resume means there is no knowing when the 2019-20 soccer season will actually end.

This means the league will likely to exceed the June 30th date should the French League authorities decide to resume the campaign when the coronavirus pandemic is over.

A date far from narrative since it signifies the end of the contract for the Ghana international and several other players in the league.

The 30-year-old enforcer will therefore have to accept an extension of a few weeks.

He has made 14 appearances and tallied 1 goal in the French second-tier championship.
