Ghanaian defender Robin Polley enjoyed a remarkable debut for FC Dordrecht as he was named Man-of-the-Match in their 3-1 pre-season friendly win against Excelsior Maassluis on Saturday.

The guardsman defender joined the Sheep heads on loan from ADO Den Haag with the option to sign permanent ahead of the new Eerste campaign.

The 21-year-old quickly made debut for the club on Saturday as they made light work of lower-tier side Excelsior Maassluis in a friendly encounter.

Polley marshaled the defense as his side defeated Excelsior Maassluis 3-1 courtesy goals from Nikolas Agrafiotis, Kevin Vermeulen and Nelson Amadin.

His performance in the match saw him clinch the Man-of-the-Match gong.
