Ghana's Sports Ministry has congratulated the national U-20 men's team after winning the WAFU Zone B U-20 tournament in Benin.

The Black Satellites defeated the Young Stallions of Burkina Faso by 2-1 to win its first title in the sub-regional tournament.

Precious Boah won the game for the Black Satellites with his free kick in the 79th minute.

Ghana held onto the lead and clinched the WAFU Zone B U-20 trophy with a 2-1 win against its neighbouring country, Burkina Faso.

The Sports Ministry after the game has congratulated the youth side for the triumph.

Ghana will head into the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations to be held in Mauritania as champions of the WAFU Zone B.
