Ghana’s Sports Ministry directs Ghana FA to dissolve Black Stars management committee after embarrassing AFCON exit

Ghana’s Sports Ministry has directed the Ghana Football Association to dissolve the Black Stars management committee following the country’s disgraceful exit from the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations.

Ghana exited the competition from the group stage after losing to Morocco and Comoros.

The Black Stars failed to beat debutants Comoros in the final group game played in Garoua on Tuesday to exit the tournament.

The Ghana FA and the technical team led by Coach Milovan Rajevac have come under intense pressure after the exit with calls from the fans for the team to be dissolved and coach sacked.

The Sports Ministry summoned the Ghana FA to a meeting on Friday and has directed the FA to reconstitute the current Black Stars management committee led by George Amoako.
