Ghana's U17 team that won bronze at the 2012 FIFA Women's U17 World Cup have been nominated for the CAF women's national team award.Â
The Black Maidens beat much-fancied Germany 1-0 in the third-place play-off match in Baku, Azerbaijan with ten girls.
They will contest the award with newly-crowned African Women's Champions Equatorial Guinea and Nigeria's Super Falcons.
The winners will be disclosed at a gala in Accra, Ghana on 20 December.
