Former Hearts of Oak ace Winful Cobbina was on target for FK Tirana as they beat Flamurtari to extend their lead at the summit on the Albanian Premier League standings.
Cobbina solidified his cult hero status for the Tirana-based outfit on Wednesday when grabbed one of two goals scored in the must-win encounter against Flamurtari on Wednesday night.
The Ghana international netted his side’s second goal on the day to help them maintain their six points lead at the top of the Albanian top-flight division.
FK Tirana fetched the opening goal in the 34th minutes through Jürgen Vrapi’s exquisite finish.
Cobbina sealed the victory three minutes to full time to hand FK Tirana a well deserving 2-0 away victory.
He has now scored 4 goals and registered 2 assists to his credit in the Albanian top-flight this term.
FK Tirana are six points clear at the top of the league 50 points after 25 games.
