Uruguay are lining up a friendly with an African team in November to round up their preparations for the World Cup in Qatar.

The South American country have been drawn in Group H alongside Ghana, Portugal and South Korea and in a bid to test their strength before playing the Africans, Uruguay have started negotiations with Morocco for a friendly in Europe, ten days to the World Cup.

The former World champions have already arranged three friendlies in June, where they play Mexico and the United States of America in the US on June 2nd and 5th respectively.

A third friendly on June 11 will be played in Montevideo against Jamaica, which will serve as a farewell for veteran players Fernando Muslera, Diego Godín, Luis Suárez, Martín Cáceres and Edinson Cavani.

Another set of friendlies are being arranged in September before a final game in November.

The Uruguayan Football Federation are still in negotiations with Morocco but will also be talking to other countries should they fail to settle a clash with the North Africans.
