Ghana's World Cup opponents Zambia line-up China, Korea friendlies

Ghana's 2014 World Cup opponents Zambia are arranging two friendly matches against China and South Korea to help the team prepare for the qualifiers of the global competition.

The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) says the friendly matches could be played in August and November respectively.

The association's general secretary George Kasengele said the Chipolopolo (the Bullets) are likely to play South Korea away in August after playing two World Cup qualifier games against Sudan on June 2 and Ghana on June 9.

"We are likely to play South Korea in August on a FIFA day, but that is subject to confirmation," he was quoted as saying bythe paper.

"Then we are also discussing with China for a possible friendly inNovember in China. Both friendlies are almost confirmed."

Zambia won its maiden Africa Cup during the finals co-hosted by Equatorial Guinea andGabon between January 21 and February 12.

The head of the football association Kalusha Bwalya has since revealed that his goal isto ensure that the team defends the title next year in South Africa and remain in the topfive on the continent for the next 20 years.
