Ghana’s Zubairu Ibrahim scores for FK Jedinstvo Ub against Metalac

Ghanaian forward Zubairu Ibrahim scored for FK Jedinstvo Ub to power the team to a 2-0 win over Metalac in the Serbian Prva Liga. 

Zubairu started the game and lasted 77 minutes while Kwame Karikari also lasted 90 minutes.

FK Jedinstvo Ub playing at home controlled the game in the early stages and was rewarded with a goal in the 5th minute through Serbian midfielder Danilo Miladinovic.

The White and Red entered the dressing room with the one-goal lead.

Putting on a stellar performance, the former King Faisal star found the back of the net of the opponent in the 61st minute to double his team's lead.

Metalac made some changes in the second to try and get a goal in the intense encounter but the home side's backline stood firm and prevented the attackers from getting space in the box.

The forward has scored seven goals and provided six assists for the Serbian outfit this season.

Jedinstvo will take on FK Inđija away in their next league game.
