Experienced AshGold goalie Fatau Dauda Aduana Stars’ Godfred Saka weaved their way into the mid-week eleven while familiar names like Yaya Mohammed and Latif Blessing disappear.

Asante Kotoko coach Michael Osei was the coach of the week for being the first coach to have picked a win at Bechem this season.

  1. Fatau Dauda – GK [AshGold]

Fatau Dauda carried the sinking AshGold side on his shoulders to secure a point away at Tema. He pulled several brilliant saves including saving a free kick to deny the home side the three points.

  1. Godfred Saka [Aduana]

The experienced defender reminisced his previous performance for Aduana a few seasons ago by picking the ball from his own half, dribble past two Edubiase defender to slot home the winner for the visitors, he won the MVP.

  1. Abdul Bashiru [Dreams FC]

Despite Lawson Bekui scoring twice to give Dreams FC a point, Abdul Bashiru put up a wonderful performance to win the MVP. His crosses were apt as the Liberty goalie was called to duty severally by the powerful drives of the Dreams FC captain.

  1. Richard Akrofi [Hearts]

Even though the Hearts side against Hasaacas was not that productive, Akrofi lived up to the billing to stop Hasaacas from getting at least a point. He won the MVP.

  1. Kadri Mohammed [AshGold]

He was outstanding for AshGold in the clash with Inter Allies. He tackled well and managed to provide some blocks to prevent AshGold from conceding.

  1. Theophilus Nyame [Kotoko]

Even though Nyame came on in the second half, his tactical understanding and display won the day for Kotoko. His introduction brought stability in the Kotoko midfield and won all the tackles for the Reds.

  1. Sarfo Gyamfi [Kotoko]

He won the MVP of the game after scoring the only goal that won Kotoko the three points. His goal has been described by the head coach of the side as a masterclass.

  1. Ebo Mends [Liberty]

Ebo Mends was drafted into the holding midfield role against Draesm FC on Wednesday and he played it to perfection. He forced applause from the teaming Dreams FC fans with his dazzling runs and perfect passes.

  1. Lawson Bekui [Dreams FC]

He won a point single-handedly for Dreams FC following his two magnificent goals. He should have been adjudged the MVP according to many independent observers who watched the game. He was just brilliant.

  1. Richard Arthur [Wa All Stars]

Arthur did not score yesterday but he was the chief tormentor of the WAFA defence. He created the chance for Emmanuel Ocran to fetch the opener before WAFA equalized. He won the MVP of the game.

  1. Isaac Mensah  [Hearts]

He scored the only goal that won Hearts the three points at the empty Accra Sports Stadium. He was marvelous on the day despite the Phobians waned performance yesterday.
