Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko have been given the green light by the Ghana FA Club to use Accra Sports Stadium as their home venue for the 2020/21 season.

The Ghana FA Club Licensing Board after its inspection approved a conditional license for the two clubs to use the venue for their respective home games.

Asante Kotoko has adopted the Accra Sports Stadium as their home venue for the upcoming season due to the renovation works ongoing at their traditional home venue the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi.

The venue has been closed down since February this year with renovation works expected to be completed by January 2021.

The two Ghanaian giants will share the Accra Sports Stadium for their home matches in the fixtures released by the Ghana FA.

The Porcupine Warriors will begin their 2020/21 Ghana Premier League campaign at the Accra Sports Stadium against Techiman Eleven Wonders when the season kicks off on November 13 whilst Hearts of Oak play their first home game at the venue against AshantiGold on November 20.

The Accra Sports Stadium will also host other Premier League teams such as Inter Allies, Accra Great Olympics and Legon Cities.

The Club Licensing Board has approved five teams to use the venue for their homes games next season.
