Ghana Premier League title sponsors Globacom have targeted to begin operations in the country before the start of the new season.

The telecommunications giants are yet to begin business despite being issued a license five years ago.

This has affected Glo's inability to honour the terms of payment in sponsoring the top flight league.

The Nigeria-based outfit also sponsors the Ghana national team, Black Stars, will be in London next month during the friendly against the Super Eagles for photo shoots and TV commercial adverts.

"We will be going to London for the Nigeria game with some people from Glo to shoot some commercials," Ghana FA spokesman Randy Abbey told TV3.

"They (Glo) have indicated their readiness to start operations in the country by the time the next league season starts."
