Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakaso has described his screamer against Togo as the best goal in his career so far.
Wakaso, on loan at Celtic from Russian side Rubin Kazan, scored an incredible 25 yards strike to give Ghana a 2-0 lead against Togo at the Tamale sports stadium last Wednesday.
“I have a good tendency to hit them from afar and I have practice and scored a couple in training,†Wakaso told GHANASoccernet.com
“Most do not find the target but the few that do, come out well and I guess it couldn’t have come any better.
“I have had some nice moment in front of goals but this one is one of the best if not the best I have ever scored.
“I saw the goalkeeper out a bit and decided to go for it and fortunately I came out the way I wanted it.â€
