Goalkeeper Felix Annan extends Asante Kotoko stay by signing new three-year contract

Asante Kotoko goalkeeper and captain Felix Annan has signed a new three-year contract which keeps him at the club until 2022. 

The deal was stitched up on Tuesday at the club's secretariat on Tuesday.

Annan, a Ghana international, joined the Porcupines in 2011 and has risen to become captain of the side.

He has won three Premier League titles and two FA Cups.

Annan said: ''I am delighted to have signed an extension to my contract with the club. My heart belongs here and so it was not a difficult decision choosing to extend my stay.

"I am the captain of the club and so has a mission which I have not accomplished. I neither wished to leave the club nor made any exorbitant demands. I am happy here wants to remain here to accomplish the mission that I have set for myself."
