Goalkeeper Laud Quartey has confirmed his exit from Hearts after a 12-year stint.

The experienced shot-stopper was deemed surplus to requirement at the end of last season after spending his entire career at the capital-based club.

He says he has served his time at the club and will be seeking a new challenge elsewhere.

“Right now I have confirmed to you that I have left Hearts for good,” Quartey told Kumasi-based Fox FM

“I have served the club for too long. I have disposed of all the things Hearts gave me. I have given their jerseys, track suit, t-shirt and everything to my friends,”

“I have a lot of medals to remind me of my moments at the club.”

Quarter joined Hearts in 2002 from Takoradi Polytechnic.
