Chelsea have been linked with a surprise £48m move for Liverpool's 19-year-old England midfielder Raheem Sterling.

Liverpool have started negotiations with former Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes over a move to the Premier League. The 32-year-old is currently a free agent.
