IFK Goteborg Sporting Director Mats Gren has hailed the quality acquisition of Ghanaian duo Prosper Kasim and Sabah Lawson from Inter Allies.

Both players who play for the Ghana juvenile national teams have signed long-term contracts with the Swedish club which will be effective in January when the transfer window re-opens.

They were signed following a scouting visit by their Sporting Director in Ghana.

Mats Gren is excited by the high quality of acquisitions he has helped his club secure by the arrival of Kasim and Lawson.

“They are players who can be described as a mix of May Mahlangu and Daniel Amartey,” he said. “Good driving, fast, and aggressive both offensively and defensively.

“Good at getting past his opponent.”

Both players are expected to join Goteborg’s training camp of Turkey and Portugal in the New Year.
