Great Amphibians lose protest against Young Zobzia

Great Amphibians have lost their protest against Young Zobzia in respect of their MTN FA Cup Preliminary round match played in Tamale.

In a protest sent to the GFA after their Preliminary round match, Great Amphibians alleged that Young Zobzia used an entire team of unqualified players in the match.

However, per the evidence from the FIFA Connect Registration System the players of Young Zobzia were qualified to play in the MTN FA Cup match.

Young Zobzia were however fined an amount of GHc75.00 in accordance with Article 16(5)(a) of the GFA General Regulations.

Also for failing to produce the during inspection and submitting same to the Match Commissioner, Young Zobzia was fined and amount GHc500 in accordance with Article 16(5)(c) of the GFA General Regulations.

Per the ruling of the Disciplinary Committee, the result of the MTN FA Cup Round of 64 match between the two sides shall stand and Young Zobzia shall advance to the Round of 64 stage.
