Great Olympics has announced the appointment of former Black Stars forward Yaw Preko as the club's new head coach.

Management had to decide on reliving former coach Annor Walker off his duties due to health reasons, GHANAsoccernet.com has gathered.

Annor Walker has not been able to train with the side for weeks and has missed the team's last two games in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.

Yaw Preko with his experience on the domestic front has been brought in to continue the work of Annor Walker as Olympics continues to impress in the ongoing season.

The team currently placed seventh on the league table with 11 points after eight matches played in the ongoing season.

This will be Yaw Preko's first appointment at club level since deputizing Kenichi Yatshuhachi in the 2015/16 season at Hearts of Oak.
