Great Olympics capture George Asamoah ahead of giants Kotoko and Hearts of Oak

Great Olympics have beaten Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak to the signing of highly-rated midfielder George Asamoah.

Asamoah has signed a one-year contract with the capital-based club after liking the terms they presented to him.

The deal was confirmed on Friday, with the Dade club really excited to have captured the midfielder who many have tipped for great things.

The 23-year old enjoyed a great 2020/21 season with Ebusua Dwarfs, featuring in 33 games and finding the back of the net three times.

George Asamoah before signing for Great Olympics was on the wanted list of Hearts of Oak, Asante Kotoko, Bibiani GoldStars, Elmina Sharks and some clubs from outside the country.

Asamoah previously played for Inter Allies and WAFA in the Ghana Premier League.
