Ghanaian midfielder Hans Nunoo Sarpei has expressed excitement over Greuther Fürth's last minute draw against promotion rivals Hamburg in the Bundesliga II.

The midfielder was introduced into the game in the 75th minute as his side battled to rescue a point with the final kick of the match.

Norwegian forward Havard Nielsen opened the scoring in the 35th minute after connecting to a brilliant cross from Maximilian Wittek.

Hamburg pulled level six minutes later through Joel Pohjanpalo before taking the lead three minutes after the break when Jeremy Dudziak slotted home from close range.

But with just seconds remaining, Havard Nielsen scored his second of the game to salvage a point for the Shamrocks.

"The excitement of the last-minute goal. 2-2 wasn't a too good result. We move to the next one!," Hans Nunoo Sarpei posted after the game.

Greuther Fürth's next game is against Dynamo Dresden, which could be postponed following a positive test to coronavirus in the camp of their opponents.
