Guadalajara coach Carlos Terrazas says he did not sign Ghanaian goalkeeper Razak Brimah just to play one game.
Brimah was signed on a free transfer in the absence of the two first team goalkeepers and there were fears he has brought in as a temporary measure.
First choice shot-stopper Escalona was injured and his assistant Tono Ramirez suspended.
The former Nania FC gloves man has played in Guadalajara's two matches in the Spanish-tier league even when Ramirez had finished serving his one-match ban.
"He has not been signed to play a game," Terrazas said.
