Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola was full of praise for Juventus ahead of their Champions League tie on Tuesday.
The reigning Serie A and Bundesliga champions meet in the round of sixteen in a mouthwatering encounter, and both coaches have been talking up the quality of their opponents prior to the match up.
“The Bianconeri have a lot of quality,” said Guardiola.
“If they didn’t, then they wouldn’t have won four Serie A titles in a row,” he continued.
“Plus, they also reached the final of the Champions League last season. It’ll be a tough match, they have some great players like Gianluigi Buffon and Paulo Dybala, plus a good defence.”
Guardiola admitted that injuries combined with the scintillating form of the Old Lady may lead to a slight change in tactics from the Bavarians.
“Juventus are in great shape,” he said.
“They are a team that conceded very few goals, so we’re going to have to try to do something different.”
