Guardiola told Man City to make Gundogan priority in Amsterdam summit

Pep Guardiola wants Manchester City to make Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan a priority target.

The departing Bayern Munich coach met with City directors in Amsterdam last week for a transfer summit.

High on the agenda for Guardiola is Gundogan, says BILD.

The midfielder is expected to be sold by BVB this summer after baulking at opening new contract talks.

Barcelona and Manchester United have been linked with the Germany international, but Guardiola is urging City to do all they can to win the race for his signature.
