Guinea coach Michel Dussuyer says Ghana are the favourites to top Group D of the 2012 African Cup of Nations after they drawn in the same group with the Black Stars.

The 52-year-old says he will aim to reach the quarter-finals of the tournament as they will also play Mali and Botswana in Frenchville.

The Sylli National are confident despite the tough task of playing World Cup quarter finalists Ghana.

''This is a difficult group with Ghana, of course. Ghana needs no introduction after their exploits at the World Cup,'' Dussuyer said.

Insisting that all the other teams are no pushovers, the former Nantes goalkeeper is aware of the threat posed by Botswana and Mali but want to reach the knock-out stages of the competition.

"Botswana has qualified for the first time. For Mali, we know the talent and potential of individual players at the highest level,'' the Guinea coach said.

"There is no affordable ‘chicken’, all the ‘chickens’ are difficult.

"We will try to play our cards right, by at least qualifying for the quarterfinals. There is a favourite but the other three can fight for second spot,'' said the French coach who led Guinea to the quarter finals of 2004 Africa Cup of Nations.
