Gutted Aduana forward Allan credits Hearts for vital win at Dormaa
Aduana Stars fell to Hearts on Saturday

Aduana Stars forward Emmanuel Allan has expressed disappointment in his side’s 1-0 loss to Hearts of Oak.

The Fire side suffered the shocking defeat against the out-of-form Phobians before their home crowd in Dormaa.

Hearts came into the game with back-to-back 3-0 defeats against Wa All Stars and were again expected to fall on Saturday.

Coach Mohammed Polo’s side however produced a remarkable performance to snatch all three points at the Agyemang Badu Park.

The defeat leaves Allan hugely disappointed but says credit must be given to the impressive Phobian side.

“We are very disappointed in this defeat because with all the troubles in their [Hearts] camp we were very confident were going to win,” he said.

“We dominated and created a lot of opportunities but they defended very well and this is testament of their character.

“It shows they [Hearts] remain a big club in Ghana and deserve the credit for this win.”
