Gyan trains with Al Ain for first time

Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan trained for the first time with his new teammates at UAE side Al Ain on Thursday.

The Sunderland loanee is trying to settle in at the club he made a shock move to last Saturday.

He has been allowed time to adapt by head coach Cosmin Olaroiu before he will be unleashed next week.

Gyan watched from the stands as his new side slipped 2-1 Al Wahda on Friday night in the the Etisalat Pro Cup.

The 25-year-old is expected to make his debut on 23 September against Dubai Club.

The UAE Pro League begins on 16 October and Al Ain open their campaign at home against Al Naser.
