Erling Haaland has indicated that his Norway teammate Martin Odegaard is in need of playing time, following the latter's move to Arsenal

The Borussia Dortmund striker is confident that the Real Madrid loanee can feature as a playmaker at the Gunners and believes that all his compatriot lacks at the moment is consistency.

"It will be interesting as Arsenal are a great club in England," Haaland told VG.

"Their football is a bit different, but I think he can fit in Mikel Arteta's system in the No.10 role. There he can have fun.

"He has to go there and just start playing games. That's what he needs.

"We know how good Odegaard can be.

"When he's confident with the ball, we know the most incredible things can happen. He needs consistency."
