Hamburger SV manager Daniel Thioune shower praises on Ghanaian defender Gideon Jung.
Thioune explicitly praised Gideon Jung before the home game against Heidenheim in the Bundesliga 2 on the weekend.
"Gideon is a defensive player and has done our game a lot. He let the pendulum swing in our favor in Bochum. We are very happy about it," he said.
"We also know that Gideon is often viewed critically. It does him good when he hears something positive."
Jung has made 18 appearances for Hamburger this season.
Hamburger are on top of the Bundesliga 2 standings as they seek for promotion to the German top division next season.
