Hannover 96 interested in swap deal for Ghanaian youngster John Yeboah

German side Hannover 96 are interested in a swap deal for Ghanaian forward John Yeboah in the summer transfer window.

The Bundesliga II side want to the  German born in a deal that will see Linton Maina move to Wolfsburg with Yeboah coming to Hannover.

Maina wants to leave the club following interest from the Wolves but Hannover 10 million Euros plus John Yeboah.

Yeboah was shipped on loan to Dutch Eredivisie outfit VVV Venlo last summer in order to continue his development.

The pacy wideman did fairly well with The Old Good lads as he scored one goal and registered one assist in 18 league outings before the cancellation of the campaign due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The 19-year old was born in the German city of Hamburg to a Ghanaian father and an Ecuadorian mother and has progressed through all the age groups of Wolfsburg.

He was part of the German national under-17 team which featured in the 2017 FIFA Under-17 World Cup in India.

Currently, he features for German under-19 team but still eligible to play for Ghana.
