Asante Kotoko's Brazilian midfielder Fabio Gama dos Santos says he will consider nationality switch if Ghana shows interest in him.

The former Brazil U-17 and U-20 player is enjoying life in the West African nation and has taken the Ghana Premier League by storm with some scintillating performances.

His displays in the domestic league has courted attention from fans with many asking if Ghana can lure him to play for the Black Stars.

Gama joined Kotoko in October last year, and has been involved in four goals in the Ghanaian top-flight, scoring twice and providing two assists.

"I am happy with the treatment from Asante Kotoko management. I enjoy staying here," he told Pure Sports.

Asked whether he would consider a nationality switch, Gama said," Why not? [But] it’s not an easy decision to make. you have to talk with your family. I can’t say ‘no’ and I can’t say ‘yes’ right now.

“It’s a decision that you have to think about very well.”

The 28-year-old will be returning to Kotokos starting line up in the game against Medeama, having missed the previous match against Berekum Chelsea through suspension.
