Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord graduate Harrison Afful has congratulated his former for gaining promotion back into top-flight of Ghana football.

The School Boys sealed their return to the Ghana Premier League last Saturday with a 2-1 win over Dunkwa FC to top zone III.

Afful played in the league with Feyenoord before their relegation in 2007 and was loaned to Asante Kotoko the following season.

He was named best defender in the Ghana league on his debut season.

“I am really delighted to hear Feyenoord are back into the Premier League. That club is a club that has given me a lot and I am really excited to hear they are back,” the Esperance man told GHANASoccernet.com

“Am sure the principles of playing football the right way will be upheld and I wish them all the best.”

Afful will be named in Ghana’s World Cup squad to Brazil.
