Hasaacas striker Eric Bekoe revealed he suffered verbal abuse from Asante Kotoko coach David Duncan during his side’s 1-0 defeat in Kumasi on Friday night.

The Kotoko legend claims he was called to the touchline by Duncan who rained insults on him without any provocation.

The incident occurred in the second half when Bekoe was complaining about officiating.

Bekoe also disclosed the entire Kotoko bench later apologized for Duncan’s impropriety.

"As a respected coach that we all know, he called me at the touchline and insulted me. It doesn’t look professional," Bekoe said.

"It is uncalled for. I don’t know what I did. He just called me and started dissing. If it was my fault, his coaches would not have called me to apologize."
