Hatayaspor forward Joseph Akomadi relishes opportunity of playing against Mario Balotelli

Hatayaspor forward Joseph Akomadi says playing against Mario Balotelli will boost his skill after the Italian forward joined Turkish super Lig side Adana Demirspor.

The 21-year-old Ghanaian forward revealed his excitement of as Balotelli was confirmed a new player for Adana Demirspor, and hopes to feature in a game against the ex-Manchester City player.

"I have played against renowned footballers like Mesut Ozil, Antonio Valencia, Demba Ba, [Mbwana] Samatta, among others," Akomadi told GhanaGuardian.

"But playing against former Manchester City star Mario Balotelli will boost my playing skills. To do more for my club Hatayspor and also will get me closer to don the national team jersey."

Akomadi joined Hatayaspor from the Aspire Academy in 2019 and played for the U-21 side for a year before earning promotion to the first team.

Last season, he played twice for the club finished sixth in the topflight.

He is expected to have a vital role at the club in the upcoming season.
