Heart of Lions coach Bashir Hayford is staying cautious ahead of his team’s upcoming clash with Hearts of Oak this weekend in Kpando.
Both sides are eager for a win after disappointing starts to the seasonâHeart of Lions drew 1-1 with Aduana FC, while Hearts of Oak suffered a 1-0 defeat to newly promoted Basake Holy Stars.
Speaking to Peace FM, Hayford said, “Going into the Accra Hearts of Oak game, it is our own field. With that in mind, we are going to play our game. So I don’t want to predict. Hearts of Oak is not a small team.”
Heart of Lions, unbeaten in their last two home matches, will be hoping to take advantage of Hearts of Oak’s inconsistent form, with the Phobians losing three of their last six games.
