An ultrasound scan carried out on Eden Hazard on Sunday morning was inconclusive and the Belgian will have to wait for the results of an MRI scan to know the details of his latest injury, suffered in Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Alaves.
The results of that scan should be known on Monday, with Hazard already ruled out of Real Madrid's Tuesday night match against Shakhtar Donetsk in Kyiv.
With Sevilla, Borussia Monchengladbach and Atletico Madrid on the horizon, everyone at Real Madrid will be crossing their fingers and hoping that the issue is not serious. Zinedine Zidane said after the Alaves defeat that he hopes it's just a knock.
Since arriving in the Spanish capital, Hazard has already had seven injuries and missed 37 matches.
