Southampton manager Ivan Juric has praised Ghana winger Kamaldeen Sulemana for his efforts despite the team's 1-0 FA Cup loss to Burnley.
Sulemana displayed moments of brilliance, but struggled with his final product, leaving Juric frustrated.
"He did some really good things," Juric said. "I think he's a little bit impatient at the moment, and he wants to do one-on-one in the situation that he has to play."
Despite Sulemana's struggles, Juric commended his attitude and work ethic. "I think it's normal because he's really feeling good, he wants to do his best," Juric said.
Sulemana's statistics from the match reflect his potential, with six successful dribbles, 49 touches, and an 81% passing accuracy. However, he was unable to capitalize on his chances, managing only one off-target shot and having another blocked.
Juric's support for Sulemana is clear, and the 22-year-old remains an integral part of Southampton's squad. With Juric's guidance, Sulemana will focus on improving his decision-making and sharpening his impact in attacking situations.
