Nicolò Barella said Antonio Conte “makes you give 110 per cent” as he wants to “repay” Inter for the faith they’ve shown him.
The youngster has proven to be ready for the big step up to play at San Siro and help Inter challenge Juventus for the Scudetto.
And the 22-year-old revealed Conte has “helped me a lot” since his €25m move from Cagliari last summer.
“He has helped me a lot tactically and my positioning,” Barella told Sky Sport Italia. “What they criticised me for, was that I was driven by instinct. Conte makes you give 110 per cent.”
Barella was out injured for a month and a half with a knee injury during the first half of the season, but he had already made an impact at San Siro and is happy to be back.
He will do "everyting" to deserve the "faith" Nerazzurri have shown him and sent a “good luck” message to his Italy teammate Nicolò Zaniolo.
“Inter wanted me a lot,” he said. “I am trying to do everything I can to repay for the faith they’ve had in me.
“There was an injury in the middle, but these things happen. I also want to say good luck to Zaniolo.”
