Heart of Lions activate special GFA rules to register duo Ben Acheampong and Haminu Dramani - reports
Haminu Dramani could join Lions

Ghana Premier League side Kpando Heart of Lions have activated the special Ghana Football Association rules to register duo Haminu Dramani and Ben Acheampong, according to reports.

Accra-based Oman FM claim Lions have officially written to the Ghana Football Association notify them of their intentions to register the duo if they are able to reach an agreement with them.

But Lions claimed last week they won't sign pair but according the reports, they have made a quick u-turn to snatch the pair.

The Ghana Football Association will not permit any club to register a free agent if the club failed to notify the Association of their intentions on the final day of the transfer window which closed on 30th September.

Dramani, a 2006 Ghana World Cup squad member, was heading to giants Asante Kotoko but the deal fell through while Acheampong who last played for Angolan side Petro Atletico is also likely to join Kotoko.

Dramani's vast experience from Europe include spells with Turkish side Gençlerbirli?i, Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow, Kuban Krasnodar, Arles Avignon, Red Star Belgrade and Gil Vicente.
