Heart of Lions president Victor Ahiakpor has extolled the technical ingenuity of head coach Yusif Abubakar following Sunday's convincing 2-0 win over leaders Asante Kotoko at home.
The Kpando-based are now fourth on the league table and this is their best start since 2003/2004 season.
Ahiakpor has credited new trainer Abubakar for the club's explosive campaign in this term.
"I can see our new coach (Yusif) Abubakar he is going a great job," Ahiakpor told MTNFootball.com.
"He has really demonstrated leadership qualities, experience in coaching and he has proven to everybody that he is an experienced coach of course."
Abubakar has rich experience in the Premier League having handled All Blacks, Berekum Chelsea, Hearts of Oak, Wassaman United and Medeama SC.
