Heart of Lions General Manager Yashin Laryea has apologized to club’s supporters following their demotion from the Ghana Premier League.

The Kpando-based side were thumped 4-2 on the final day of competition last Sunday to finish in 14th place with 40 points.

"We are very sorry for the state of the club now, on behalf of the management, we are pleading with Heart of Lions supporters. I know it’s not easy but they should still support us when we start the division one matches and I know with God on our side we will bounce back," he told Asempa FM.

Heart of Lions joined the Premier League in the 2003/04 season.
