Coach CK Akunnor has expressed minor concerns over the postponement of Hearts of Oak's Premier League opener with Tema Youth.

The 2009 Ghana champions were supposed to have played the Harbour Warriors on Premier League opening day this Sunday.

However an enforcement of the Premier League rules following the invitation of five Tema Youth players to the Ghana U-20 team has seen the match to be played at the Tema Park postponed to next Wednesday.

And coach Akunnor says the situation has had a negative effect on his plans though insisting its a minor problem.

"It is just not cool playing on a Wednesday. It is the start of the Premier League and we are not yet at playing midweek games," he told GHANAsoccernet.com

"It changes our plans but it is not much of a big deal.

"We now have to draw up a new plan and play Tema Youth on Wednesday."

Hearts are looking to wrestle back the league crown from rivals Asante Kotoko this term.

The Phobians are without Premier League joy since the last time they won it in 2009.
