Hearts of Oak deputy coach Henry Wellington has commended the performance of midfielder Daniel Kordie in the side's 1-0 loss against Medeama last Sunday.
Kordie joined the Phobians in the close season from Liberty Professionals for an undisclosed fee but has failed to lock down a regular spot.
The midfielder returned to the starting line up in the defeat at Tarkwa, playing just behind the two strikers, and excelled to the delight of coach Wellington.
“[Daniel] Kordie, you know for a very long time he has not been playing, but all the same he did very well today [against Medeama] and that is what we want,” Wellington told accraheartsofoaksc.com .
“If Mr. A is not there, you can use Mr. B so kudos to Kordie, he did very well [and showed his quality].”
Kordie could keep his position in the team when they host Inter Allies at the Accra Sports Stadium on Match Day 30.
