Hearts of Oak coach Herbert Addo says playing arch-rivals Asante Kotoko in the GHALCA Top 4 opener is a perfect way to start the pre-season tournament.

The experienced trainer took charge this month and faces a daunting task of playing the defending league champions in Accra on 24 August.

Often defeat for coaches in the Super Clash has turned out to be a graveyard but Addo says playing Kotoko first adds no extra burden.

“I don’t really want to engage myself into such hypes because football is football and it is played on the pitch. I really don’t care who we play first, so far as our training is on course I have no need to worry,” he told MTNFootball.com.

“For me playing Kotoko first is okay for me and it won’t mean anything different.

“I am working with the team on a daily base and I am satisfied with the progress we are making.”
