Hearts coach sets modest second round target

Coach David Duncan says his second round target is to steer Hearts of Oak out of relegation and nothing more.

The Phobians are facing a real battle to beat the drop after a shambolic start to the campaign.

Hearts are currently 14th on the league log with a paltry 15 points.

And coach Duncan is under no illusions of the immediate task of survival following a terrible opening in the first half of the Ghanaian top flight.

“We want to just beat the drop for now,”he told Kumasi-based Fox FM.

“If we keep winning and the teams below us are also winning then it becomes difficult to predict where the team will place.

“I wouldn’y be able to predict whether we will end up in the top four.

“So for now I am setting a modest target of we beating the drop.”

Hearts resume their expected league resurgence this Sunday at home to King Faisal.
