Hearts of Oak have confirmed that teenage striker Mahatma Otoo has joined Tunisian side Esperance for a fee of 500,000 euros.
The 18-year-old has been registered by the Tunis-based club for the remainder of the Caf Champions League after passing a medical examination.
Otoo was adjudged the best player in the Ghana Premier League for the 2009/2010 season.
He is a member of Ghana's Under-20 team to have advanced to the last qualifying round of the 2011 African Youth Championship.
Otoo joins Ghana defender Harrison Afful who moved to the club two seasons ago from local side Asante Kotoko.
