Hearts of Oak douse Liberty fire to move up

Hearts of Oak moved three places up on the Ghana Premier League standings by beating Liberty Professionals 1-2 at Ohene Djan Stadium.

The Phobians went ahead through Douglas Nkrumah to end the first half 1-0 and midfielder Esme Mends added the second from a free-kick.

Liberty goalkeeper Daniel Adjei converted a penalty later in the game.

Hearts are now eighth on the log sheet.
