Hearts duo Akwasi Bobie Ansah and Edwin Osei Pele are interested in a move to Ashantigold, GHANAsoccernet.com has gathered.

Ansah is deemed surplus to requirement while striker Pele is not in the plans of head trainer CK Akunnor and has reportedly  been  told to look elsewhere for first team action.

Sources in Obuasi say the two players  have contacted officials of the miners to enquire if their services will be needed.

Pele was farmed out on a six-month loan to Aduana Stars  but had not hidden his desire to seek a move to a club which can guarantee him first team football.

The former Premier League Champions Ashantigold are also looking for a back-up right back and could swoop for the workaholic defender.

Ashantigold placed seond last season and came close to winning the FA cup after they lost the finals to New Edubiase.
