Hearts of Oak have extended the contract of striker Kwadwo Obeng Jnr, ahead of the new season, the club has announced.

The striker signed a three year contract extension with the club on Tuesday and will be with the Ghanaian giants until 2023.

Obeng Jnr joined the Phobians from Bibiani Gold Stars in 2017 and has since fought his way into the first team.

The new contract is a confirmation of the club’s confidence in the budding striker.

The 21-year-old will be expected to play an integral role in the upcoming season following the departure of strikers Joseph Esso and Kofi Kordzi.
